Fresh Air Experience 30th Annual Nordic Night, November 6, 2013

The 30th annual Fresh Air Experience Nordic Night is on Wednesday, November 30th from 6pm until 9pm, at their 2070 Harvey Street location. Come and meet other members of the Okanagan Valley Nordic community, and check out the latest in nordic equipment. There will be snacks, refreshments and door prizes. This event features cross country skiing and snowshoe racers from BC and Alberta,
Ski Swap and Annual General Meeting Sunday, October 27th, 2013
The annual ski swap takes place at the Telemark chalet. Equipment drop off is at 10 am and the Ski Swap begins at Noon. This is a excellent oppurtunity to buy new and used cross country skiing equipment or to purchase your season pass.
The Telemark Nordic Club Annual General Meeting begins in the lower lodge at 11:00 am.
Fresh Air Experience Demonstration Day, January 4, 2013
Saturday, January 4th
Fresh Air Experience will be at the Telemark chalet with representatives from several x-c ski manufacturers. The demononstration day is an opportunity for skiers to test drive the newest models of cross country equipment at no cost, and get the latest advice on equipment.
Telemark Bring a Friend Day, Sunday, January 5, 2014
Sunday, January 5th
On this day any Telemark member (someone with an adult ski or snowshoe season pass) can bring one friend and the friend skis or snowshoes for free. Stop by the office on your way in and pick up your friend’s free pass. Rental equipment is not included.
Biathlon Demonstration Day December 14, 2013
Saturday, December 14, Noon until 2:00 PM
Come and join us for our biathlon demonstration day. Meet the coaches and many of the athletes, learn a little about biathlon (which combines skate skiing and range target shooting) and give it a try! This event takes place at the Telemark Biathlon range.
Kelowna Apple Loppet January 26, 2014
The Telemark Cross Country Ski Club welcomes all skiers to the 27th Kelowna Apple Loppet. The event is open to skiers of all ages and abilities. The pursuit courses range from 1000 meters to 30 kilometers. Ski as an individual or as part of a relay team. Announcer Steve King will be on hand to MC the race. Medals will be awarded, and draw prizes will be presented.
