Bonus Ski Day This April 5th Weekend
We rolled Telemark Trail for skate skiing on Friday afternoon. Time it right for a nice skate ski to the Telemark lookout, and back. The valley after the Telemark Trail short cut is good both ways but watch the creek. The chalet is closed and skiing is free. Not recommended for beginner skiers. No ski patrol at this time of year.
Telemark Nordic Volunteer Dinner a Success
One hundred and forty Telemark Nordic Club volunteers attended the banquet at Okanagan College on Thursday night. The food and service was excellent. Thank you for improving the lives of children and youth.

Telemark Schedule until the Season Ends
Telemark will be open for skiing and snowshoeing until Sunday, March 23rd. There is still a lot of snow on the trails. We are into spring skiing. In general, skate skiing is better earlier in the day, as the lanes stay firm until it warms up. Classic skiing is better later in the day as the trails tend to soften up. There are many moose and mule deer on the trails at this time of year.
Telemark Night Skiing Ending
Wednesday, March 12th will be the last night that the chalet will be open for night skiing. Rentals will not be available at night after this date.
