Bear Aware at Telemark

Please let your friends know that on Monday May, 20 @ 11:00 there was a 250 lb. black bear in Fern Valley, by the temporary lake. At 13:00 there  was a 400 – 500 lb. bear at the intersect of the short cut on Telemark. The bears were seen by Telemark staff.  Make sure you are bear aware. Do not run or ride the trails alone, and make noise. If you are riding with children and/or dogs stay close to them.

Telemark is Closed for The Season

The lodge and rentals are closed, and grooming has stopped. The washrooms will be left open for a couple of weeks for those who would like to continue to ski and snowshoe. It was an extremely successful season! Look for improvements in the future. Thanks go to our executive, staff, volunteers, members and suppliers. We will see you on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the ski swap and AGM.

Telemark Last Day of the Season!!!!

Sunday, March 24 will be the last day at Telemark. The trails still have a great deal of snow and the skiing is very good. The plan is to groom all of the trails on Sunday with the big machine. The office and rentals will be open until 4:00 pm. Come and get in some great spring skiing.

Night Skiing

Night skiing has ended for the season. The office and rentals are closed at night, and the lights have been turned off.
